Introduction

The basic characteristics are contained within the first section of the horoscope. These are influenced by the aspects and conjunctions of other planets. Some conjunctions are more important than others and these are detailed in their order of importance. A conjunction is the coincidence of two planets whereas an aspect is the relation of one planet with another. The initial section of the horoscope, entitled "General Reading", details the relationship of the Sun and the Moon.

General reading

You have strong opinions and emotions and express them through the written and spoken word. You are a person of action but this breaks down under a lack of true executive capacity. Some flaw in your administrative talents will drive you to to seek the influence you crave through intellectual means, in which you will achieve your greatest success. You are critical, accurate in thought and somewhat too outspoken. However tact is something you can learn if you want to.

You have a large streak of timidity under that aggressive exterior. If the truth could be known you are not always as sure of yourself as you appear. In fact your extreme aggressiveness is likely to hide some degree of inferiority complex which you try to talk yourself out of.

You are ardent in love, somewhat critical and suspicious, but easily satisfied if there is some flattery and demonstrativeness thrown in . You like to be petted, though you wouldn't care to have people know it. You are also constant in love making, you are domestic and devoted, although a sort of cool note runs through the love nature and makes you, in spite of your romantic exterior, a little forbidding and austere. Grace,charm and magnetism make human relationships and therefor life easy for you. You are capable of winning people over just by entering the room. If you are not generally accepted as being an attractive person there will always be lots of people who see something that they find easy to look at.

There is a good deal of material luck with this position and someone or something will always pop up at the last minute to save you from financial distress. This aspect helps channel your aggressions into your business ventures and ensures success. Mercury aspected with Neptune lends charm to your voice. You have a kind of detached and abstract viewpoint on knowledge, loving it for its own sake. You are thus anxious to satisfy your intellectual curiosity even with the odds and ends of information that you may never use. It helps the memory and makes you a good story teller for you don't forget much.

You are in danger of wearing yourself out in pursuit of your goals. When you meet an obstacle you are likely to force it out of your way without thought for other people or the consequences of your behaviour. At work and home don't expect others to keep up with your hard driving pace. To preserve your energy for the future learn to pace yourself.
